Welcome to Redbill Beach Shacks, a modern Tasmanian shack community set just behind Redbill Beach in Bicheno.
Grounded in the landscape and shaped by a deep respect for place, this carefully considered coastal land offering brings together architecture, nature and a slower way of living on Tasmania’s East Coast.
We look forward to sharing more soon.

Architecture That Sits Quietly Within the Landscape

Land + Plans
Set within a private bushland setting with direct, private access to the beach, Redbill Beach Shacks offers a clear and considered path to coastal ownership. The planning, design and approvals have already been approved.
Each land purchase includes access to one of seven architect-designed shack plans with development approval secured and engineering completed, along with permission for holiday accommodation.

Our Story
The land has been privately held and enjoyed since 2004, used as a camping retreat by a small group of Tasmanian families. Our connection is shaped by years of East Coast shack life and surf culture – experiences that have helped define Redbill Beach Shacks Community as the place it is today. We also recognise that this story began long before us, and that our role is simply to continue it with care. With its layered history and ever-changing nature, Redbill invites a slower way of living – one that reconnects us with each other, the environment, and ourselves. We are proud to invite you to become part of this story.
